RJ and Noel are both available tonight. Rose still out. Kemba not an option for rest of season.

Thibs is going to start Burks at PG, because the advanced stats say to do so given our meager options, but should be an opportunity for Quickley to increase his role.
 
thanks for the game thread, htr, lost track of everything these past days.
rose will undergo another ankle surgery so i don't expect to have him back any time soon i wonder if we got any chance of seeing more of mcbride
 
Wsup htr .. Thanks for the Game-Thread .. I was thinking bout putting up the Knicks vs Heats game-thread on Wednesday .. when I heard another player being taken out of the Knicks COY Thibs rotation .. Noel, Barrett, D.Rose, and now Kemba. Is it possible we add Sims & Deuce to tonite rotation ???

Don't forget when Thibs were in Chicago he became consistent at running a 7 to 8 Man rotation throughout the regular season. The Knicks are 9 games under being a .500 team from running 8 to 9 man rotation.
The Knicks roster are built for a 10 to 11 man rotation having several different talents on the roster to use in a rotation.
I still believe Sims & Deuce should've been a part of our last month rotation.
Veteran D.Rose need to rest the remainder of the season.
What decent NBA head coaches are available now to be our top assistant head coach, until ?????

Grimes down in less than a minute into the game .. knee hit
RJ have to play the entire first quarter.. I rather have McBride
 
Half-Time .. Knicks 55 - Heats 65

ISO RJ Barrett quietly put up 13 pts in the 1st Q .. and ISO 17 pts in the 2nd Q on 9-13 FG shooting and 6-9 3's to have a 30 pt first half of the game !!!

The Knicks played individual B.Ball in the first half.
Deuce-Deuce McBride perform the final 2 min before half-time.

Big news is Grimes likely to miss significant time with knee injury.

Grimes with partially torn kneecap. Rose having ankle procedure?. The Randle good run before ASB fizzled? IQ and Obi nonexistent again?.

But there was a hyper efficient RJ with 46-9-2. Jimmy Butler called him the face of the franchise moving forward.

?One of the low moments came when Obi Toppin inbounded the ball after a Heat basket and it got picked off. Miami worked the ball around before Herro nailed a 3-pointer. ?


Stop blaming Thibbs for Obi. That?s why he doesn?t play much.

RJ Barrett joins Carl Braun as the only Knicks 21 and under to record a 40 point game.

So?RJ Barrett is extension eligible in the Fall. We giving him a 5 year 181 million dollar contract? That?s what he can get as a former #3 pick.

If we don?t do it, my guess is this goes the same way it went with KP.
 
Or maybe he?s sent to OKC for SGA, then another package goes to NO for Zion; then KAT and Booker sign with NYK after next season as free agents?

KAT, Wiggins, and Butler put out a 100 ft. distance order on Thibs ....

Dang Randle 2-15 shooting .. 0-4 from 3's, 4 turnovers, and facilitator the Knicks offense for 36 min without any ball-movement, or coached plays.
Tonight game showed a 48 minute ISO-Knicks team playing Individual basketball .... If that's not a sign of a head coach TANKING after a week off .. Maybe the best understanding are RJ Barrett's 46 pts does not increase his NBA worth as a player when his team only scored 15 pts in the 4th quarter (a stats player, not a NBA winning player that produce going down the stretch on both sides of the court.) !!!
 
I don?t recall too many 21 year old kids dominating games in the 4th. This is a man?s league. Give him time.
 
Miami Heats coach Spoe 4th quarter plan was visible (25-15) ....
Nine min remaining in the final quarter the Heats kept setting-up in a zone defense and we literally couldn't get the ball past the 3pt line.
When Grimes went down .. Deuce McBride should've receive more than 2 min of playing time tonight. Deuce-Deuce should've started the 4th quarter lineup alongside of Quickley Cam, Obi, and MitchRob. By the way MitchRob was given 1 FG shot in his 30 min of playing-time tonight, against a small-ball Heats rotation.

In the first half & 2nd half of the game I seen several times when Lowry or Tucker were stuck in the paint defending MitchRob, and none of the Knicks starters threw the ball up high for a alley-oop to MitchRob one time during the game. I would be pissed !!!
