One of the commentators yesterday said something about JR, he said you need to establish yourself first in the game and have a good game, then start involving your teammates. what is he doing right now, is trying to involve them without getting himself going which is affecting his game.
I also hate when he brings up the ball.... why he keeps doing that, is it by design?

Please! The Knicks don't need any more 3 point shooters on the team (We shot 17-49 today). We could use some team-offensive plays that work, and for Randle to start pushing the ball for ball-movement in a transition.
The Knicks are in desperate need of a couple of complimentary players (in a trade) to help all the Knicks individual players who don't get traded.

We?re not going to get Mathews and he?s not just a 3 pt shooter. He?s a scrappy over achiever that is a demon on defense. 6?5? more athletic than I thought, saw him throw down in a game. If you go up to Clutch Fans the Rox fans love the guy, and they should because he?s a reason they?re playing decent ball now after that 15 game losing streak where they looked like a trash GLeague team.

Head coach Silas has been patient at building his new young team in Houston.
The team been cutting down on their turnovers and building on their assists.

Rookie Grimes talent, skill-set, and team complimentary performance are much-much better than the performance we get from ur boy RJ Barrett at the SG, and SF position.
I believe rookie Grimes first 30 min performance got u thinking bout Mathews.

The Knicks giving excess minute to Grimes & Knox in the Bucks game only showed me the Knicks FO are putting Grimes & Knox as trading bait for Dec 15.
Knicks mismanagement has been foolish/stupid throughout the off-season giving up two first-round draft picks, making Grimes the team first pick in the 2021 draft. Now they want to trade him, before giving him the chance to show his consistent potential.
I said it in the offseason, and I will say it again, "Rookie Grimes are the best all-around player the Knicks added to the team in the offseason." !!!

On October 23, 2019,Barrett made his debut in the NBA, starting in a 111?120 loss to the San Antonio Spurs with 21 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

And he did that against a Pops defensive team, as the third pick in draft. It doesn?t compare to draining 7 three pointers?. Against champs, playing tough defense.

27-3-3-3 for Grimes and a loss
21-5-2-2 for RJ and a loss

This doesn?t look like ?much much better? but I get that you are prone to hyperbole.

Back and talk to me in 15 years. A bust is not what RJ is. Maybe not an all star? but not a bust. I bet some of you would?ve sold your bitcoin ten years ago when it was just 1 dollar. Now it?s worth nearly 50k a coin.

But, yes, Grimes could make it that you trade RJ, if right star becomes available

But, what does it tell you if that team WANTS RJ and not Grimes?

Wsup Mafra .. I don't have a problem with Kemba, or Fournier on the Knicks (they are workable for a 20 to 30 min role). What I do have a problem with are the Knicks FO making 3 different head coaches give a young raw RJ Barrett above 30 min a game from day one on the Knicks to become a star.
When Barrett has not showed a decent consistent performance in 3 seasons to be a NBA starter.
Yes! Barrett does show flashes at times every now and then of being a scorer (So do the 12-17 Pacers Levert, who has more creativeness to score than Barrett.), what else does Barrett do?
The role Evan Fournier played for the Orlando Magics for 7 seasons are the same role Barrett been trying to for fill for the Knicks the past 3 seasons. Barrett suppose to be learning how to mesh along side veterans Kemba & Fournier in a lineup to enhance his NBA growth.
I didn't notice any chemistry in the Knicks starter lineup during the 27 games, nor did I see any in the same starters in the pre-season games. However,
I always see chemistry in D.Rose 2nd unit lineup !!!

Those that pretend to know talent and BB should take off those rose color glasses. Take a real look at the overall #3. If all you can get out of him is at best an average player... What does that say about where you drafted him... At Best An Average Player... for playing almost the whole game.
This isn't being critical of him just being fair with the evaluation.
**When you ask the questions about him the fan base disappears and hide. Anything that he may become is always deferred to a distance time. Example: Five years from now he will be this or that...Well, What about NOW??
**Nobody can ever justify him starting a game!! Nobody can ever say he won a starting position!! Move over the only justification they can ever give is that he was drafted #3 and that is suppose to justify his existence on the Knicks team.
Two of the best questions to ask yourself is.... Does RJ 'Move the Needle' of this team? Is RJ a 'Transformative Player(like KP(#4) was when drafted... the future look brighter... we have hope)? The answer to both questions is NO!! NO THEN AND NO NOW!!
