Game Thread: New York Knicks vs Philadelphia Sixers 1:00pm 1/18/2016

Affalo hitting key shots down the stretch but idiot LT fouls a three-point shooter. Melo is 5-21... Zilch in the fourth... He does have 6 assists tho.
 
He misses all shots... ISO Melo leads to a blocked shot... PHI drains a 3... NYK down 94-93 with 50 seconds left.
 
Noel... Who got away pushing off on PORZ on a rebound... Grabs and Yanks Lope's jersey in the paint... Seems only the NYK are fouling down the stretch. Terrible non-call. You can't allow a guy to extended arm and grab hold of and pull a guy's jersey. They called a foul on AA for boxing out Noel when he jumped for a rebound.

Down 3 with 4 seconds left and Melo sinks a 3 from top of key.

Typical Knicks...
Go 5-6 in an 11-game stretch against teams over .500 (1 shot away in SA from 6-5 record)... Then come home and lose to both Nets and Sixers. They better win this!
 
Melo misses a shot then refs gift PHi 2 points to start OT... Calderon steals ball from Smith but they call a min-existent foul. Melo misses another shot... Easy layup from Ish... LT and-1...

He retrieves it and heaves a brick 3 as shot clock expired...

Affalo Misses a free layup. Ish smith makes same layup AA missed and gets fouled. Down 4 with under 2 to go.

It's why I always say we play 82 road games. At home and a d-league journeymen gets away with an offensive foul and gets bailed out after the vett steals the ball... Ref gives away 2 free points in a game where 1 point may mean win/loss.
