Game Thread: New York Knicks vs Utah Jazz 2:30pm 1/20/2016

Porzingis goes to the line with still 9.9 seconds to go. Ton of time for when Utah gets the ball. Porzingis clutch at the line to make the lead 3.
 
You could see that coming a mile away. Once Porzingis got switched onto Hayward, he was going to foul the 3 point attempt. He can't avoid jumping in those situations. Way too aggressive on defense. Porzingis fouled out. 2.4 seconds on the clock and Hayward effortlessly ties the game at the line.

It clearly was the right move, which again we didn't make. Clyde sounds fed up. He brings it up every time and can't believe we consistently fail to do it.
 
DF is an idiot. That is exactly why you foul and don't allow the 3 point shot. I don't even blame KP. Just terrible coaching.
 
OT once again. Melo limping. Who will Fisher ride in OT - Melo, Lopez, Derrick Williams, Galloway, and Afflalo?

If KP fouls him... Game is over. Not sure why we allow them to hoist a potential game tying 3... We foul them anyway and award 3 free shots...twice now.

It is just bad coaching. Simple as that.
 
Calderon instead of Afflalo starts OT. Afflalo with 5 fouls and terrible defense all night. Melo's 1st bucket in OT ties him with Larry Bird on the all-time scoring list.
 
Afflalo quick off the bench for Calderon with 3 minutes to go in OT. Fisher not wanting to risk Calderon's defense any longer maybe.
