The thing is...nobody else knew Fields was going to be good either.
Only Donnie Walsh did. ONLY Donnie Walsh. Every other commentator, from bloggers to ESPN to newspapers trashed Walsh for the Fields pick even moreso than the Rautins one.
In other words? Trust in Donnie Walsh...I dunno about the Rautins pick, though, but Fields is turning out to be pretty damn good.
