Any team can win it all. The way I see it, If we play like we have been playing playoff teams snce the trade, NY will have that gold ball. It will be tough, but we got warriors on our squad. I have nodoubt in my mind we can win every game, especially if Dantoni gets us to score 150 points, we can get at least 1 stop lol

No doubt this team has mad skilzz. The problem right now is cohesion. After witnessing the game against the Hawks yesterday Melo and Stat have clearly not gelled yet and this is a great thing. After several more games these guys will see what each other likes to do and start to feed off each other.

Where do I see them....The sky is the limit!! I'm booking tix back to NY for the parade!

Deandre Jordan would be the best bet, but i doubt we get him.
But out of all those dudes i wouldnt mind picking up these guys(if healthy)

Yao Ming if he can recover we can always use him dudes 7'6

Samuel Dalembert tought as f*ck would grab boards and be a monster Defender

Greg Oden if he can recover hes my top choice

Earl Barron always liked Earl and i would always have a spot for him on our bench

Zydrunas Ilgauskas he murdered us earlier this season and hes also 7'6 with experience

Kwame Brown another dude tough as rocks downlow and can block and grab boards

Zydrunas Ilgauskas sucks and is too soft and he is not 7'6

Greg Oden and Yao Ming can NEVER stay healthy

Kwame Brown are you serious????

But i agree, the player that we have the biggest shot at getting and that would help us the most is Dalembert. He can grab rebounds and get at least 2 blocks per game, If we got Dalembert our defense would improve tremendously.

Where I'm posting from it's 1983. I'm ahead of the game, son.

Okay. So you are ahead of the game for 1995 but it's 2011...analog kats stay lost in this digital world. SMFH. You and your Tampa/St.Pete kats need to go jump off that tall bridge that connects your lame cities.

last week i would have agreed with that

We have zero cap space this summer. We are not signing anyone of significance. The team we have now is the team we will have next year, plus a few minor changes.

We were a 6th seed 1st round exit before the trade, we are still a 6th seed 1st round exit after the trade. Next year, with more time together, maybe 4th or 5th seed, 2nd round exit.
now that i am seeing this team play Defense on a more consistent basis, I am now not so sure we are a first round exit. Sure have we had mental lapses in our D since trade. YES, both Cavs losses and even the Bucks win. BUT..... when was the LAST TIME any knicks team held 3 good teams in such a short span all under 90.... hawks under 80.. Also, last night in garbage time the jazz put up over a 100. Had we left our starters in I dont think they reach 90. SO, they are doing something because of this trade that WE HAVE NEVER DONE in a long long time, and I know for a fact they CERTAINLY would not have done it had we not pulled the trigger on that trade.
So, last week i may have agreed. First round exit. NOW, hmm. We will and can score points in the playoffs, if we get the kind of effort on D that i have seen in these recent games there is no limit as to how far we might go.

:gony:
As far as marketing the Knicks BIG-3.... billion$$$ in 3 years at just
marketing a postseason team with Amare/ Melo/ and Billups.

As for becoming a winning postseason team in the Eastern Conference,
the Dantoni brothers have to FIRED ASAP.
Let Herb Williams become interim headcoach for a season, while hiring
coach Mike Brown (exCavs coach) as his assistant headcoach.
Have our late 2010 draft pick Jerome Jordan a strong canditate in our SLG
tournament with our 2011 draft pick (hopefully a strong rebounding PF
or lights-out shooting-guard).

Plus sign one of the FA centers in the 2011 offseason to be a Starter with Amare & Melo.
