The only reason I could find for not playing Barrett in the 4th qtr., and OT too are?
The two seasons of selfish Tom Thibs one dimension coaching are now 12-14 in MSG ..
Questions do need answering?
The 25 to 30 game DNP to an experience D.Rose, spot-shooter Fournier, and a 2-Way SF Cam Reddish.
Why are players receiving consistent 40 minutes games?
Are coach Thibs TRYING to make a top-player or all-star player out of the Knicks roster of role-players?
Why take Barrett out? Was Barrett sick?
Plus why have the players shoot 3's on all 4 possessions when 2 pts would've tied the game?
Plus why give the ball to Randle to take the 4 sec clutch shot, instead of Brunson?

The 22 yr old RJ Barrett read one of the Lakers scouting reports that had Lebron, AD, and Westbrook in the lineup.
The best way to beat the Lakers are to have Lebron, AD, and Westbrook run back on practically every defense.
Well, Lebron turned the tables by throwing lots of full-court lob passes to AD to keep the Knicks running back on defense while a tired Randle & Brunson (40 minutes playin time) got more tired in the 4th quarter.
Barrett kept pushing the ball for the Knicks to score on a fastbreak in the 2nd half of the game, but that was stopped by Thibs taking Barrett out of the rest of the game.

KAT & SGA would come to the Knicks if we had a head coach with several plans for the front court & back court players like Mark Jackson.
The Knicks loss to the Lakers in MSG .. That Game! Have fans putting up Fire Thibs & Trade Randle all over social-media
