Kurt Thomas' minutes played for the Spurs v. Suns in the 2007-08 Playoffs:

28:56 (call it 29)
13:20 (call it 13.5)
22:50 (call it 23)
14:43 (call it 15)
33:46 (call it 34)

Note first that all numbers are rounded upward (in your favor)...

29 + 13.5 + 23 +15 + 34 = 114.5

114.5 / 5 = 22.9

22.9 < 28.

In the 2007-08 playoffs Kurt Thomas played 268 minutes in 17 games for the San Antonio Spurs and Popovich.
In the 2006-07 playoffs Kurt Thomas played 212 minutes in 11 games for the Phoenix Suns and Mike D'Antoni.

2007-08 - 268 minutes divided by 17 games = 15.76 minutes per game under Popovich.
2006-07 - 212 minutes divided by 11 games = 19.27 minutes per game under D'Antoni.

You cannot debate these numbers unless you just refuse to believe the cold hard facts sitting in front of you.

I believe that is the point I was making when I mention
In 2005 to 2007 the DNP on F/C-Kurt Thomas for practically two seasons
when Kurt Thomas performance in the playoffs "almost" overmatch the Spurs
in a series (if Amare wasnt suspended one game)
In the 2006-07 playoffs Kurt Thomas played 212 minutes in 11 games for the Phoenix Suns and Mike D'Antoni.
2006-07 - 212 minutes divided by 11 games = 19.27 minutes per game under D'Antoni.
All u did was agree with me. Kurt Thomas played a strong part in Phoenix taking the Spurs to a 7 game series in 2006-7.
But Dantoni's few minutes of playingtime & DNP for two seasons got Kurt Thomas traded to Seattle for what in return?

Kurt Thomas played 26.6 minutes and 18 minutes per game in his 2 seasons in Phoenix over the course of 120 total games played. In San Antonio, he played in 18.8 minutes per game and then 17.8 minutes per game...It doesn't appear that D'Antoni played him any less than Popvich. So explain to me your point again about D'Antoni not playing guys...as soon as I destroy your argument you change the relevant question. Anyone with a working brain cell sees what you are doing with your consistent backpeddaling. I disproved your "Thomas played 28 mpg" argument, and showed that Thomas played more minutes for D'Antoni on average than he played for any team for the remainder of his career. With the exception of the fledgling Seattle, Thomas has played about 18 mpg on the rest of his career and never has gotten back to the 26.6 mpg that was given to him by your arch-enemy that you think is a Nazi, Mike D'Antoni.

Thomas played in 53 games in 2005-06, starting in 50 of them and in 2006-07 played in all 67 games before missing time with a stress fracture injury.
