The Indiana Pacers have acquired All-Star forward Pascal Siakam in a trade that sends Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and three first-round picks to the Toronto Raptors, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
As part of a separate trade, the New Orleans Pelicans sent Kira Lewis Jr. to the Raptors, and a second-round pick to the Pacers, sources told ESPN.
Two of the first-round picks going to the Raptors are for 2024 -- Indiana's own selection and the lesser of a Utah/Houston/LA Clippers/Oklahoma City pick -- while the third is for 2026 (from Indiana), sources said.

DETROIT -- Jalen Duren had 22 points and a career-high 21 rebounds and the Detroit Pistonsended the Oklahoma City Thunder's five-game winning streak with a 120-104 victory on Sunday.
"I just think our guys care," Pistons coach Monty Williams said of Detroit's best win of the season. "We had every reason to make excuses -- a back-to-back against the best team in the West -- and our guys just competed."
Duren's performance included a career-high nine of Detroit's 15 offensive rebounds. It was the Pistons' first 20-20 game since Andre Drummond's on Jan. 31, 2020.
"I also had six assists," Duren pointed out to the media. "I knew 20 and 20 was bound to happen for me at some point. The game is slowing down for me tremendously."

After Randle's performance in the 2022-23 regular season and playoff vs Heats, Randle earned a 4 yr (keeper) extension to keep building a winning Knicks team around. So did Quickley.
Robinson won't get nearly as much attention as Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, or Mikal Bridges when it comes to projecting the Knicks' season, but he stands to have nearly as big of an impact. He may just be the Knicks' biggest X-factor this season.

Trading Obi Toppin to the Indiana Pacers for just draft picks in return, It help to lift the Pacers to a 47 win season.
The Pacers past two seasons were a 25 win season, then a 35 win season.
Obi Toppin average 10 pts, 4 rebs, 2 ast, on 57% FG, 40% 3's, in 20 minute of playing-time in 82 games last season.
Obi Toppin was just what the Knicks needed for 20 minutes off the bench for a healthy Randle to play 80 games last season.
The Knicks were real LUCKY to get Precious Achuwa to replace Obi Toppin & Mitch in the Knicks rotation for 49 games. And to show our appreciation for Precious 49 games Leon Rose gave him a 1 yr $6M contract.
And gave OG Anunoby's 31 games a $200M contract.

In Brunson, Hart, Deuce, Sims, Toppin, and Mitch Robinson.
We added eight new players to the roster in OG, Precious, Mikal, Payne, KAT, and three drafted rookies in Kolec, Dadiet, and Hukporti .. 6+8=14 players. A Potential winning roster !!!
Having 14 players on the roster, and starting the season off only giving 8 Knicks players playing time in the Knicks rotation each game doesn't make a happy winning roster for the season.
The Knicks 8 man rotation are 2-2 in their 4 games to start the 2024-25 season.
I'm sure giving 10 of our potential Knicks players double-digits minutes of playing time in the rotation each game the Knicks would still have a 2-2 record, and 10 happy players for being a part of it.
I just watched the Bucks vs Grizzlies game and I must say, "Ja Morant player/coach performance reminds me of Jordan & Magic Johnson performance and entertainment.". Outstanding !!!

Grimes 29 minute performance paved the way for his two PG teammates Kyrie's 23 pts, and Dinwiddie's 21 pts to keep control of the tempo from beginning to end.
