Our 2nd season dynamic SG Quentin Grimes, will be practicing with the USA Select Team for their minicamp next month in Las Vegas.
Grimes is coming off a strong sophomore season where he averaged 11.3 points over 71 games (66 starts). He nearly doubled his rookie-year points per game and shot better from the field, from deep and at the free-throw line.

Now, the 23-year-old Grimes will practice with other young standout Americans such as the Thunders Chet Holmgren and Rockets Jalen Williams, Detroit Pistons Cade Cunningham, Houston RocketsJalen Green, Sacramento KingsKeegan Murray and Boston Celtics' Payton Pritchard in Vegas.

As part of the USA Select Team, not only will Grimes practice with his fellow rising stars, he’ll practice and scrimmage against Team USA’s FIBA World Cup national team as well, including fellow New York (Villanova players) Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson.

Grimes and the rest of the USA Select Team are also eligible to travel with the national team and serve as replacements if anyone is injured before the start of the World Cup, which begins on Aug. 25.
