I guess I should be used to blown draft picks and free-agent misses being a Knicks fan. I actually thought the brain-dead Fail-Jackson pick of Frank over DM could be wiped away! We were the odds on favorite all the NBA insiders said. Well NBA insiders don?t know **** and the Cavs snuck in the back-door. Not only do we not get DM but he ends up in the East so the Cavs just leapfrogged us. So the RJ extension is really just window dressings to cover that Leon Rose played poker with Danny Ainge and lost. Well of course Rose lost because Danny Ainge is an experienced NBA executive and Leon Rose is a glorified agent pretending to be a GM. So Rose botched the draft and now free agency as well. Typical Knicks GM: LOSER. I?m glad RJ signed his extension and Brunson was a nice pickup. But Brunson is going to look a lot different in a Knicks uni without All-World Luka drawing double and triple teams. This team will struggle to make the playoffs. Take us off the XMAS schedule please so my morning is not ruined with a Knicks blowout loss. Rant over

In the year 2022, the Knicks organization hasn't change it's spots or stripes or colors in the past 22 seasons. It still looks like the owner Dolan family are still behind all the decision-making in the Knicks offseason, and regular season games.
The Knicks many different GM, and different head coaches in the past 2 decades still has the same results each Knicks season as if owner Dolan is the GM, and the head coach .. Never on the Same-Page for a Knicks win win season.
The first time in a very long time, the Knicks gave a 4 yr extension to one of their rookie contract player (It's been decades). Now, I can call RJ Barrett a BUM-BUST player because his talent/skills and 3 season performance never earned a starter spot, or above 30 minutes a game, or an extension.
The Dallas Mavs did not loose any sleep in the offseason when they loss their FA PG Brunson to the Knicks, having three different types of combo-guards on the Mavs roster to replace a 6.1 Brunson at the PG position in Luka, Dinwiddie, and our old friend Frank.
It will be something if the (ex-Knicks) Mavs team have another 50 win season, and this time without Brunson?

But gives RJ Barrett a 4 yr $120M extension after performing less than half of Bullocks winning performance. Bullocks help his new team get to the Western Conference Finals last season. While RJ Barrett's BUST performance as a wing made us get rid of another starter PG.
The Knicks replacing SF Bullocks with RJ Barrett at the starter SF spot in the 2021-22 season made the Knicks entire starter lineup perform like LOSERS throughout the regular season games.
The Knicks 2nd unit bench lineup headed by D.Rose & Taj Gibson out-perform the Knicks starters in all of the first 20 games of the regular season giving the Knicks a 11-9 record because of the poor performance of the Knicks starters each game receiving the majority of playing time minutes.
RJ Barrett extension are the same as the Melo trade .. A 40 minute CANCER player that makes his teammates perform terrible !!!
The Knicks have several dynamic winning young players on the roster (MitchRob, Sims, Obi Toppin, Quickley, Grimes, and McBride), that could make the Knicks a future winning team, if the Knicks could get rid of the CANCER players .. RJ Barrett & Randle !!!
