Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, Honica and Kwanzaa.
I agree that Balkman and Chandler should get major minutes, but Q's not a shooting guard? Q has always been a shooting guard. He was traded from the Suns because they were trying to improve defensively. Which is why they pulled the trigger on Kurt Thomas, which by the way didn't help much. Let's not get ahead of our selves. Robinson is not a starter. He can flourish right where he is. And as you mentioned, he can't really defend any one due to his size. Crawford on the other hand has great handles and can distribute the ball for the time being.

You've been campaigning for Lee to start for a while now but whom should he start in place? Randolph? The problem with that is Randolph is a better scorer than Lee any day of the weak. Lee doesn't demand double teams like Randolph does and like Robinson, Lee does his best work coming off of the bench. If we traded Randolph my opinion would be different.

You have some great points however, Nate overall performance says clearly that he could switch-up the style and controll the tempo of the game better as a STARTER than off the bench. N8 has alot of tricks in his bag for the many Knick opositions who dont want to FOUL N8 early in the first quarter.

The poor slow performance the Knicks been getting from Marbury, Crawford, and Q.Rich the last 3 seasons as starters should make all three of them Bench Players looking for playingtime from the pine, by not being able to give the bench players a lead when they come into the game.

The knicks been losing the majority of their games in the first & third Qtr. with the starters on the court for the last three season.
I actually believe that Marbury & Crawford would be much better than Nate comming off the bench.
The same way I believe that Curry, Zach, and Frye are better comming off the bench than Lee. Why?
N8 & Lee was born to be STARTERS in this B-BALL Game!!!

N8 Robinson is the best Combo-Guard the Knicks have on their roster.

If you want steady assist from "N8" give him 12 minutes straight of playingtime alongside of a unit of Three-SF-on the court with him like:
Lee, Balkman, and Chandler for 5 games straight and watch how creative the 4 players become game after game with each other knowing in advance that they will play as a UNIT. Do not add another Knick Guard because the 3-SF could give N8 help if the oposing team try a backcourt pressure trap to stop N8 quickness. With that 4-Man Unit you can add either Bigman player Curry, Zach, Jefferies, James, Malik, or Morris, and it would be successful.

Why this lineup would be so successful is because if you hav'nt notice in the last 3 seasons the Knicks SG-position is empty, vanished on both sides of the court as if you dont see Crawford untill the ball is acrossed the halfcourt line and Crawford pops up out of no where wanting the ball for one of his 18 FGA, and crazy decision making plays per game that average 3 TO from dribbling to much. And this goes for any player that plays the SG position for the Knicks be it Marbury, Q.Rich, Nate, Collins, not so much Fred Jones but he been disapearing too.
The Knicks have no Playbook plays or roles for their SG position other than give the ball to Crawford and let him dribble dribble dribble & shoot (marbury used to be the sameway untill Larry Brown.
And this is the Head Coach and his coaching staff fault.
How many times have you seen Crawford or Q.Rich or Marbury team-up with another teammate to protect the passing lane by stopping a pass or drawing a charge from oponents?
One day watch the average NBA SG, and all the things the average NBA SG does for his team beside score points, then look at the Knicks SG players and you will see why the above lineup of 3-SF on the court at the same time for this Knick team would be successfull...
