We don't need rebounding help? David Lee and Balkman when he plays are the only consistent rebounders for this team. I would put Q-Rich in the equation if he ever gets back on the court. In the worst possible equation he'll turn into a nate-rob clone. Of course Francis will be a better passer and why do you consider him a bad passer? I've seen exceptional passes from the kid and the only reason he gets his turnovers are from dribble drives that don't result in fouls. He's averaging just under 2 turnovers a game so TOs aren't the problem. I agree with you when you say he dribble excessively sometimes but JC does the same thing and that doesn't seem to be the problem. If we give francis a role then he'll excel at it but the problem is no role has been give to him. Like what you said...he's confused. Put him in the backcourt with nate-rob off the bench and everything will be gravy. I agree with the Don...Francis at full-health will do some damage but until he's 100% or if Nate Rob emerges he should take the back side of the minutes. I'm rooting for someone to come in and take control. It's either going to be Nate or Francis. I'm hoping someone claims the spot and excels. It doesn't really matter who it is, it's the fact that somebody needs to step it up...
Steve Francis averages 3.4 rebounds per game, he isn't a 6 rebound guy anyomore. Get over him. We don't need rebounding help , we're elite in the NBA in rebounding, are you serious? Why do we want rebounding from a PG? Why is it more important than passing or defense from a PG? Is that your agruement for Francis? We know he's a terrible/lazy defender and overdribbles looking for his own shot. Him and Robinson are the same, except Robinson tries on defense. Both of them or Crawford need to go.
Francis over dribbles and kills alot of time on the clock. He's a flashy passer, alot of PG's in the NBA are. He isn't the suitable back up PG, and thats final.
Francis is only effective when he dominates the ball. Francis turnovers are down is because his minutes are down, and Curry, Marbury, Crawford average enough TO's as it is, theres not enough TO's to go around for Francis. Listen, Marbury does everything better than Francis. Theres no need for Stevie in New York.
Francis at full health wouldn't even do damage right now. At best he'll average 15 points. Francis isn't an all star. He will never be an all star. When Francis is fully healthy, he will be 32, and on the decline of his career.
Marbury has claimed the spot, where have you been? I know you don't watch Knick games, but damn. No one is going to be the starting PG of this team except Marbury. He has earned it, Francis and Robinson are combo guards. Marbury doesn't over dribble and penatrates at the basket. He isn't a pass first PG, but he sure as hell is better than Francis. Of course you agree with DonChris, you wouldn't post a in a thread that DonChris isn't in. You/DonChris = Francis/Mobley. I'm joking, don't get butthurt.
Jamal Crawford overdribbling doesn't seem to be a problem? What the hell are you saying bro? Enough is enough. RE READ YOUR POST after you press the sumbit reply button.
