Spoke too soon Wing, they just got Jerian Grant at 19. Timmy is actually a better athlete than Grant and I think he'll still be a good player, just a victim of a bad year. Wish him well in ATL.

Yes, I did. I don't think Jerian Grant will be an AMAZING player, but I think he can be a solid contributor. Athletic guard with a good shot and good PG skills honed in the college ranks in a big-time conference like the ACC? Yeah, I think he can be a great player. He has good PG skills and he can score. We haven't had a player with good PG skills in a long time. He also has Calderon to work with him, and Calderon is as good a shooter and floor general as any when it comes to creating for other players.
It took Dirk 1 season before he became a starter for Dallas, we all hope Porzingis does the same.
He should get plenty of opportunities for the Knicks but maybe it's better that they bring him along slowly, work on his conditioning, get him in the weight room and bulk him up. I don't think we have a big man coach on the staff, maybe the Knicks should hire one to accelerate his development.

I love that Knicks fans hated the Porzingis pick and Porzingis responded to it. He will show up with a chip on his shoulder. He is not like other European players. He is ready for NYC. Just listen to this kid. PJ got us the best freak athletic big man in the draft and then got us a freak athletic PG. This is a great draft for us and so many Knicks fans are crying. Just amazing.
