The Knicks 2024-25 Bench-Depth

After going practically the entire midseason without three Knicks starter players (injured & sideline Mitch, Randle, OG) in the previous season, our season was saved by our dynamic bench-depth of Josh Hart, McBride, Precious, and Hartenstein.
Burks & Bojan's inconsistency performance don't count. We should've just gave-up Fournier for them.
Hartenstein is gone, and Precious is still an unsigned FA at the end of July.
And no more talk (no where) online about trading center Mitch Robinson.
All the Knicks TRADE-trade Fans are online now putting up crazy post on trading Randle for this player or that player before the upcoming season.
We have to hope management don't bite at the crazy.
Who else do we need to help out our Bench-Depth ???

We did add a 10 yr 6.3 FA PG Camron Payne, plus we signed both our 2024 draft picks SF & PG (Dante & Kolec).
We also have probably the best starting-5 lineup in the East !!!

3-OG
4-Randle
5-Mitch
6th Man Josh Hart
7th Man Donte
8th Man McBride/Payne/Kolec
9th Man ???/starter
10th Man ??? /Sims/starter

I don't understand why management didn't resign Precious the first week of July, after IHart received a offer-sheet he couldn't turn down. Plus get all the cheap contract players signed (under 12M per), before adding big contract players (above 15M per) to the offseason cap.
Did management forget about our previous injury season, and the Knicks players that stepped up their performance ???

All of our Knicks offensive-scoring players should want Precious defensive tactics in every Knicks practice session next season.
Last season, Precious became the best part of the OG trade. Precious defended the 5 spot, 4 spot, and 3 spot well throughout the midseason games. Plus was IHart backup in January's 14-2 record.
I'm still upset with Thibs for never playing Precious & Mitch in the same lineup when Mitch return from injury.

Wsup Dark .. The Knicks are finally getting us a Big Man coach for the coaching-staff.
Jericho Sims potential waited 3 seasons.
Mitch Robinson dynamic role-playing performance waited 7 seasons.
I'm hoping our two big men on the Summer league team/G.League team are also coached & trained by Mark Bryant.

The Piston's Big-Man coach Mark Bryant is joining the Knicks as an assistant coach on Tom Thibodeau’s staff.
Having coaches Rick Brunson and Mark Bryant preparing a energy bench lineup maybe a good thang ..
Jericho/Precious/Hart .. Donte/McBride? Payne? or Kolec?

The New York Knicks on July 30th, Tuesday re-signed Precious Achiuwa, with his representative, Raymond Brothers, telling ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that it's a one-year, $6 million deal.
Achiuwa ended last season as a key member of the Knicks' rotation after he was acquired by New York in the OG Anunoby trade with Toronto.
Well, Leon Rose signed two (must have) rotation players on the roster for the NBA minimum wage contract.
The Knicks record was 17-15 when Precious was first added in the Knicks game rotation.
How valuable were Precious performance to us Knicks when Mitch, Randle, and OG were out-injured throughout the midseason games? Leon Rose answer "One year $6M contract !!!
On July 10th, I thought the Miami Heats were gonna give FA Precious a 2 to 4 yr $12M per offer.
To be in the Heats frontcourt rotation alongside Bam Adebayo.

Front office has created a mess with ‘Who’s team this is’. Randle has put his heart and soul into this team and the moment he gets hurt F.O. Turns on him.
Chemistry is a word that not used in F.O. leaked information. It not used here either. When talking about players or getting players is he a good fit.

SORRY, I stand corrected…. Chemistry is what the Nova Knicks are all about, huh!! They all played together in college so it a perfect fit.
Can they say, “CHAMPIONSHIP”??

Who took over the first option on offense ???
Who did all the Knicks recruiting for the past two offseason ???
Who lowered their salary to have cap room ???
The answer to the above question are the same answer to the bottom question.

Who's Knicks team is this ???
Who's able to call shots in the Knicks FO, coaching-staff, and to his teammates on the court ???

If rumors are true bout trading Randle .. The same player our FO been building around the past 5 seasons.
Who threw the wrench between Randle & Knicks FO ???

This cup half full is not the way I am looking at it.

The 5 starters for the Knicks all give their heart and soul in every second they are on the floor. You now have bench players that do the same.

If the new Knicks philosophy is leave it on the floor every game then I am good with that.

Randel and Brunson ar both pretty chill personalities so I do not ego playing in.

If the assumption is that Brunson orchestrated everything then that's your assumption. Give the guy some praise for taking less money and playing his heart and soul out every game,.

For taking less MONEY generally there 'quid pro quo'(meaning something for something). What was given in return?

Just like you said that Kiya and I are assuming there are problems. Read you post again it is full of assumptions.

When you speak of giving their heart and soul, well to me that Randle because whatever movement of the NEEDLE it started with him.

Now the F.O. as Kiya stated built this team around Randle because he was supposed to be the answer to KP. This again is the failures of a F.O. that doesn't know talent or how to win a championship.
This isn't about winning a championship it is about entertaining and putting BUTTS in the seats. Look at this forum and lack of the use of the 'CHAMPIONSHIP'. WHY??? Is because you and other are just glad to winning something.... Whatever in the hell it is 'it better than losing'!!
That is the environment that the F.O. has FORCE on the fanbase and they have no choice. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!

You keep wishing for the best in the Knicks and keep getting some less than a championship. WAKE UP!!

RJ Barrett was probably the only friend Randle had on the Knicks roster.
Barrett was traded, and rumors of Randle being traded are high on the gossip channel.
Will Knicks FO give Randle an extension? To stop the Randle trade rumors? No!
Not when Brunson took a pay cut, and OG Anunoby demanded (Jayson Tatum $$$) $200M contract.

The Knicks organization is a Business .. And Jalen Brunson is pushing for CEO .. By recruiting for the Knicks Coaching-Staff, plus recruiting 3 (Nova) players for the Knicks roster that HC Tibbs have no complaint against putting in the game rotation.
I'm not a fan of Randle & Brunson's selfish performance which stops us from pushing the ball, plus their ball-movement is poor. And our star PG Brunson have not average 8 to 10 Dimes in 40 minutes of playing time during the 2 seasons as a Knicks.
And I'm not a fan of our HC Tibbs who have condone Randle and Brunson selfishness on practically every Knicks offensive-possession for 2 seasons. Our Knicks offense have been isolation-scoring or iso-bully-ball scoring, or shooting 30 to 50 3-ball shots a game.
I could understand Randle & Brunson being selfish in the 2nd half of a game, but the two all-stars are selfish offensive players in all 4 quarters of a game .. in all 82 games of the season.
Which our No strategy HC Thibs let the two selfish players feud over the number 1 option on offense during the Heats postseason games.
Than Brunson recruited FA SG Donte to be the Knicks back-court starter to assist him of controlling the ball from Randle and Barrett. Plus started the season having Josh Hart as the Knicks 6th Man off the bench.
Brunson knew having first option scoring, and HC Thibs 36 minutes, and a few high scoring games, plus a winning first half of the season would finally get Brunson an all-star invitation.
The only one stopping Brunson's plan to become an all-star were ..
1) Randle's 18 shot attempts per game.
2) RJ Barrett's 15 shot attempts per game.
3) Quickley's 12 shot attempts per game.

Wish I saw what you and others see in the Nova Knicks.
If you are correct then F.O. and others were right about the direction they saw.
We win a Championship and everyone is happy including me,lol.

The Nova boys come's with a college offense that won 2 championships.
Something Tibbs don't have in his coaching playbook.
Tibbs poor offense have his career as an average head coach (35 to 45 win seasons).
We been surviving off of Randle's iso-bully-ball scoring the past 5 seasons.
We added Brunson closer scoring at the end of a quarter, and became winners.
We added the Nova boys because a few teams Brunson's dynamics was useless in the past two seasons ..
Boston, Heats, Bucks. Pacers, and Orlando. So we added another 2-Way Nova wing player Mikal Bridges to the Knicks rotation.

Wsup ??? Our FO are to petty to think Chip, they are to busy dividing Knicks players ..
Face-Book & Instagram have our PG Brunson as the Captain of the Knicks.
I guess taking a pay-cut is how Randle became the Knicks Captain.
I know I mention a lot of Randle's flaws the past 5 seasons, but our head coach Tibbs are the reason for a lot of our Knicks players flaws.
Example: Randle playing 30 minutes at the end of the 3rd quarter in the past 5 games are why Randle kept averaging 2 turnovers in the 4th quarter that got us fans in a trade-Randle mode if we loss the game.

Where was Brunson when the Knicks were struggling with RJ and trying to be a contender?
If you were Randle what would you think about giving Brunson a status that you should have?

I would learn that I needed to be more of a leader and vocal in the locker room.

Randel is a pretty chill guy and there is nothing wrong with that but you need a captain to lead.

You just don’t give the title of Captain to just anyone. You have a Blueprint in the Captain Willis Reed.

What's been going on with My (Leon Rose) offseason Knicks while I watch USA dominate the Olympics.
The USA Basketball team, the old-timers represented us for the GOLD medal.
35 yr old Steph Curry & 37 yr old Durant & 39 yr old Lebron saved their special athletics for the Final Game vs Paris French team in Paris .. Wemby vs Embiid

Who elected Brunson as the captain of the Knicks?
Did the Knicks roster of players get together for a scrimmage game, and the players elected Brunson this offseason?
Or was it taking a pay cut like Randle did to become the Knicks captain.
That's not how a captain is elected to a contender team.
Plus in our previous season Josh Hart's energy and vocal leadership on both sides of the court spelled wins and captain.

We Knicks have a nice winning set of veteran players in the upcoming season.
Randle & Brunson lacks team-leadership skills to be a captain.
And our HC Tibbs lacks a offensive coaching strategy, he depends on vet-players creative scoring skills for the team offense.
Randle's a decent double-double forward (20-10).
Brunson's a decent closer at the end of each quarter.
OG and Mikal are 2-Way great defensive players that defends three positions well.
Mitch is a great low post Center on both sides of the court.
