Does Brunson ‘Move the Needle’ like Captain Willis Reed? Simple question… Easy Answer!!

why is it always assumed that Brunson is captain for the wrong reasons.

Our last captain Randle got hurt on the job while leading the Knicks to a 14-2 record month.
The week Randle decided to have surgery, and the team elected Brunson as captain, then all would be good.
However, our 6.4 Josh Hart's consistent all-around performance throughout Randle injury was so outstanding he was given several 48 minute games.

The Knicks 2023-24 season, players Brunson, Hart, and Donte took over the Knicks from Randle & Barrett.

The reason I ask who decision was it to put up media flyers of Brunson as captain in the middle of the offseason was?
Is this a direct message to Randle, and Knicks players months before training camp ???
