Do your prediction (or outcome) on our 3-1 (now 3-2) Knicks seven game test over 7 of last season playoff teams? On Nov. 10th what will the Knicks record be?
10-2 or 7-5 or 6-6 or 3-9 ???
Here are the 7 teams the Knicks face ....
1) The 4-0 Milwaukie Bucks .. We loss 119-108
2) The 4-1 Cleveland Cavs ..
3) The 4-1 Atlanta Hawks ..
4) The 2-4 Philadelphia 76ers ..
5) The 3-2 Boston Celtics ..
6) The 4-2 Minnesota Timberwolves ..
7) The 1-4 Brooklyn Nets
The Milwaukie Bucks game we should have no shame in losing on the road in Milwaukee. They are undefeated and has a great chance of being in the Finals.
Super star Giannis is just an incredible player. There is just no match up or defensive strategy against him. It was his supporting cast that really hurt us. You really have no chance to beat the Bucks if you allow Ted Cruz lookalike and Carter to hit eight threes. And we also hurt ourselves with the (10 missed FT) and allowing 19 offensive rebounds, by not giving 2nd season center Sims any playing time when Hart & MitchRob got in early foul trouble.
But I liked the team effort. We came back like three times in this game. It was like 8-0 before we blinked and also got down plus 20 in the second half and manage to make a game of it, I thought.
Barrett continues to struggle. and Thibs keep giving him above 35 min a game.
Eventually Barrett 3-Ball will fall when he receive 24 minutes of playing time.
Randle also struggled offensively and I was confused as to why Thibs played him so much when Obi was hitting shots and playing well. I don't agree with Thibs allowing Randle (and RJ) to play their minutes regardless of performance. I have zero beef if Randle get's his 35 mpg and Obi his 13 mpg if Randle is feeling it that game but last night was not one of them.
Quickley was our best player on the court vs Bucks, Quickley came in and immediately made an impact with threes, defense and playmaking. I really like his performance.
Hartenstein tries and I love his relentless motor but he struggles on the glass against true Centers. Rose also gave us good production off the bench. Keep his minutes low and keep him as fresh as possible.
However, no reason to freak out for last night loss, beating Giannis at his house is super hard. We're not there yet.
