This past decade had a lot of bad moments, sagas, and seasons, but that didn't stop us from having special and memorable moments in the rough years.
One of them for me is going to my first Knicks game, the home opener in 2008 against the Heat. I hated the Heat the most, still do, and got to see the Knicks beat them. Also was Gallinari's first regular season game! Got no points, but wasn't in long. Did a behind the back dribble though! Haven't been to a game since, I hope I do soon.
I loved watching Nate, David Lee, etc. Even though we didn't have a team built for a a championship, that was my goal for them to achieve.
While I feel more comfortable with the Knicks winning games now, it was exciting when we won against Playoff teams, especially contending teams such as the Celtics even though we didn't have elite players.
Nate Robinson going off in Atlanta after being benched for many games, T-Mac's debut, etc.
What's some of your favorite moments from the rough years?
