You know a healthy Melo sitting on the bench is never going to happen in a close game. Calderon, Porzingis, and O'Quinn have got us here. Galloway coming alive. No excuses for Melo tonight. We just need him to give us a solid quarter and we win tonight.

Galloway on fire. 10 points in the first 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. With Porzingis and Calderon also shooting well tonight, we just can't go ISO Melo from here on out. But we probably will.

Maybe it's ego, maybe it is just terrible game planning by the coaches. Both Melo and George having bad shooting nights and both insisting on continuing to take shots.

Basketball is a simple game. Porzingis and Lance Thomas both have 3 pointers rim out and George drains his long range jumper. We're in trouble now if we start hitting shots.

Game not hard to dissect... Losers can't find a way to win and our "star" is Mr first 3 quarters... By far, has to be ranked around 129th in NBA in 4th quarter +|-...

Basically, NYK had a little lead then George took over... Bucket after bucket... Melo goes 1-2 from FT line and makes 2 of 5 shots... Turnover... Their rookie, Turner, abuses Melo and hits some shots...forces Melo into a terrible foul with 4 seconds on shot clock (off inbounds) ...

KP and LT miss 3s... Calderon almost has a turnover... Galloway has a turnover...

Paul George hits 5 shots... Knicks lose. Surprise!

Giving Afflalo the night off? He played 23 minutes and shot 1 - 6. He's still our starting 2 guard and Rambis can't even play him in the clutch stretch.

Calderon won't let this team quit. He nails a jumper to cut the lead to 4. He then gets a defensive rebound, drives down the court, and sets up Porzingis for a driving layup, which Porzingis misses, but Melo makes the putback. Down by 2 with about 30 seconds to go. This game isn't over.

It's really amazing how awful Melo has been for 3 years now in the 4th quarter of games.

Low BBall IQ...

George has 6 buckets and perfect 5-5 from fT line in the 4th... Just took game over completely... Meanwhile, Melo with a bad turnover, missed FT shot, stupid technical.

5-19 after calling out his teammates?

George shows you why we thought we could win these 50/50 games... The best player has to take over...

Ellis misses and Melo pulls down the contested rebound. We take a timeout. Down 2 with 11 seconds to go. Win or lose, this has been a rare fun game to watch from this team over the last month.

I was shocked when Rambis took Quinn out at the 9 minute mark when he was having his best game of the season and that unit helped the team come all the way back and take a lead. Rambis not much smarter than Fish .. unfortunately i believe its our upstairs front office making all the coaching decision in a game.
