Hardaway’s career night spoiled by the Pacers

With a game-high 37 points and a career-high 7 tree pointers, Tim Hardaway Jr. was this close to carry the Knicks towards their third win of the season. And then, something typical happened. Victor Oladipo scored 9 of his total 24 points in the final three minutes of the game and the Pacers, who were down 91-95 a minute earlier, went on a 16-6 run that closed the gates at 107-101.

“We froze up in the last three, four minutes. We didn’t get into anything. I was getting the deer in the headlights look at me in the fourth. We had six turnovers in the fourth and you can’t do that. We have to get better in late-game situations. It’s usually an area young teams struggle.”
