Game Thread: New York Knicks @ Brooklyn Nets 7:30 12/14/2017 [Game #28]

We score 63 in the 1st half and lead by 13. Can?t take anything for granted though. We are the worst road team in the league and this still counts as a road game. Need to lock down in the 2nd half and blow these guys out.

Yeah, no doubt they have talented players, but the style of basketball they are playing, it?s like something out of a video game.

Kanter - 11 Points, 7 Rebounds
Jack - 8 Points, 3 Assists, 1 Rebound
 
Nets chopping away at the lead to start the 3rd quarter. KP asks to come out of the game. Looks like his left leg is bothering him.
 
Not sure Hornacek knows how to control the flow of the game. KP came out injured and Nets went on a run and Hornacek waited until they had come all the way back and taken the lead before calling the timeout. We had a lineup out there that wasn?t guarding the perimeter well and all the Nets do is chuck up threes and he let it go on for way too long.
 
Like I said you can't take them lightly or any team that shoots the 3 like they do. No lead is safe, they take the lead on Carroll's 3 75-73.

One-dimensional offense. All they?re doing is throwing up threes. Hornacek screwed up and left a group out there that wasn?t guarding the perimeter. We need Ntilikina, McDermott, and Baker back in the game.
 
Right on cue, Ntilikina and McDermott come into the game and the bleeding stops. We score 4 straight to tie the game back up and force a Nets timeout.

Guard the 3-point line and the Nets offense can?t do much.

We lead by 5 going into the 4th. Hornacek needs to be quicker to go to the bench. Ntilikina, McDermott, and O?Quinn replacing Jack, Thomas, and Kanter completely changed the flow of that quarter and gave us the athleticism and defense we needed to stop the Nets surge.
