I showed zero emotion in our offseason these past couple summers. We got Kemba 3yrs too late, Evan never showed much other than the fact he?s a tease, Burks has been an underachiever his entire career plus he?s made of glass, Noel much the same he only looks solid if he?s on a good team
I did want Thibs but I also advocated getting Monty Williams and spoke on how great of a person he is besides a coach
I just wanted us to develop youth for 2-3yrs until we established a core, instead we always feel like we?re one move away from becoming a dynasty. Can?t stand this team honestly
Me too .. Me too .. The Knicks past/presence FO does hit the negative-emotion in fans, very rarely does the Knicks FO decision-making send a positive-emotion to Knicks fans. However, we did receive a season of positive-emotion when the Knicks FO traded for D.Rose last season.
Me myself, I live by the rule of Build or Destroy, and solutions are the idea of a problem.
I thought, hiring Woodson & Thibs for the Knicks head coaching job were a huge improvement to the Knicks past coaching staff. And for one season the two coaches won the COY.
I thought the two head coaches came as a package.
Today Knicks without coach Woodson the past 53 games look lost all season.
I too, wish we would've hired Monty Williams for head coach if I knew Woodson would only spend one season.
The Knicks offseason signing, beside D.Rose, the rookie Grimes were the Knicks best signing.
The Knicks had the $$$, and a successful season under the COY, and a all-star player to tempt two or maybe 3 NBA starter FA players (PG-Dinwiddle & SF-Derozan) to sign as Knicks starters.
Dinwiddle veteran leadership & Derozan veteran scoring would've fit well in a starter lineup having RJ Barrett, Randle, and MitchRob.
The only two FA players the Knicks FO were supposed to re-sign are D.Rose leadership on the young-core players, and Reggie Bullock's hustle-chemistry with Randle & Barrett.

I think I?m done listening to people target these 2 guys as a negative on this team. This team has a lot of problems. These 2 guys aren?t why we lost tonight
.
The two players (Barrett/Randle) performance has showed repeatedly over & over for 3 seasons they are not CLOSERS! Or first or second option on offense going down the stretch. Their poor decision making, or poor FT shooting, or their turnovers, or their poor defensive habits has loss more Knicks game than they won.
Tonight, the two players combine to take 50 FG shots, and could not pull out a win after having a 21 pt lead vs the Lakers.
If you don't know .. for the past 3 seasons the two players mention has been taking 80% of the Knicks FG shots in the final 6 minutes of a game. Winners pull wins, and the Knicks record (24-29) says the two players are not winners, plus being 2-8 in our last 10 games prove the two players performance are average NBA role-players given the green light every game.
