Game Thread: NY Knicks vs Golden State Warriors 02/27/13 8:00

^ The Wizards game is a must win, these Knicks can't afford any more "slipages" and missing out on W's to some losing teams. Our schedule looks pretty tough, there won't be many that much winnable games.

Woodson is actually tearing this Knicks team apart with his rotation lineup .. We are at home playing a David Lee-less GS Warrior team, and Woody gives 40 minute to Tyson, Melo, Felton, and 36 minute to JR.
The above 4 Knicks-players have showed no-chemistry in a lineup on offense or defense in 53 games.
They still cant complete a fastbreak-basket after 53 games.
They are to slow lookin lost in a transition-offense, so they walk the ball for a halfcourt-set on every possession.
They are so slow at getting back on offense AND defense, that their lazy-performance give all our oponent confidence & energy to beat us.

Another DNP to Copeland, who PnR with PG-Prig is better than PG-Felton & Tyson.
Plus Copeland Defensive-effort is equal to Stat, Melo, Novak, JR, and Felton ..
Copeland gives us 4 fouls to give, rather than all our 40 minute players letting oponent go by them to score ...
:gony: pitiful Knicks win in MSG

another game of misses for JKiddo. why is he starting?
Novak, no-threes = non-presence. give his minutes to Cope.

STAT for Kidd in starting 5. please. maybe coming off the bench
will allow Kidd more minutes with 2nd unit, as #1 PG. who knows,
he needs a kick in the a$$ to get his game back to where it was at
start of season.

although Shump's not scoring, he is looking better, esp on defensive
end (6 steals!), he needs to drive more and get the rust off... quickly!

nice to see K-Mart, although a non-factor, he did tie up a couple men
on defense, but he looks lost on offense. hopefully he's working hard
in practice.

Melo and JR were on for most of game, especially JR with clutch 3's,
but Knicks cannot rely on those 2. live and die by the 3.

however, I liked Melo's passing and distributing, he needs to do more
of that, and Knicks will be unbeatable.

Chandler the man handler! just phenomenal on the boards. as soon
as he went out the first time, GS came back. lucky for Knicks DLEE
was out...

not much you can do when one of the league's best shooters is hot.
Kiya's suggestions to run the ball up court by Feltip makes sense.
keeping Shump glued to Curry all game might have made sense as well.
just don't let him get the ball. concentrate on doubling the guy.
c'mon now, disrupt his flow, knock him down, anything! jeez!

the entire NBA world is abuzz with young Curry's performance.
I know I won't soon forget it.

This game was the first time i saw Curry since he was a rookie, and man has he gotten 100x better....Congrats on the 50+ SC. Amazing we could had drafted him and passed on him. A lot of teams thought he was too light (170 lbs). A great win regardless for us

and he is zillion time better than overrated CP3. But just read that Cp3 will be FA in 2k14 as Lebron.

Remember Dell Curry from Charlotte.

No we couldn't have and people really should read threads before repeating stuff over and over.

Report ....
Weeks before the 2009 draft night, Knicks GM DUM-DUM Walsh kept publically announcing that the Knicks were going to select Stephen Curry with our 8th pick.
The GS Warriors (owners/coach) were so upset with Knicks GM DUM-DUM Walsh for trading Jamal Crawford to GS GM Chris Mullin in Dec. 2008 that GS owners FIRED GM Chris Mullin before the February trade deadline, and out of spite the GM-less GS Warriors select Stephen Curry with their 7th pick .. at the time of the draft GS had a roster full of scoring-guards including Jamar Crawford, GS selecting Curry over a much needed bigman in the 2009 draft made GS two elite scoring-guards demand to be traded that summer .. Steven Jackson & a injury Ellis.

Knicks GM Dum-DUM Walsh try to make-up any bad feelings with GS in the 2010 offseason by trading the Knicks top fan favorite all-star David Lee to GS for GS bust players .. two days after Dum-Walsh traded David Lee to GS, the Knicks owner Dolan were so upset, Dolan tried to rehire Knicks ex-GM Isiah Thomas...

^that's just so sad to read, yet totally believable, and in line with big mouth Knicks
saying they're going to resign Lin, so Houston renegotiates "poison deal".

just poor business dealings from the top on down, starting with clueless Jimmy Dolan's
jungle fever ignorance.
