New New York
Quiet Storm
This Sucks
It looks like last night Carmelo signed a 4 year 100 million dollar extension w/ The Nuggets. So the ol plan of using NY to scare the hell out of your current team in order to get millions more has worked again.
Once again Knick fans look like the fat kid who the supermodel tease gassed into thinking she actually liked him just to get recognition from her loser boyfriend!
All our Carmelo threads were for nothing.
Visions of a "Big 3" in NY has faded
Melo is a Nugget and always will be one and all we have is Amare who is one injury away from putting us back in the sad state of the Isiah regime, a GM who brought life back to our team just to have our Owner attempt to bring back the man who killed it the first place and a coach who was banking on coaching multiple players from the "Reedeem Team" with the hopes that he could be coaching The 2012 Olympic Squad and now bitter that his coaching record got jacked up just to end up with a player he has coached before!
Of course none of what I have said about Melo is true.....but the sad thing it is not that far from what could really (and will likely) happen!
The last two years shouldve taught us something; lets focus on what we have and not be concerned with moves (trading for Rubio or Fernandez) and acqusitions (do I need to give an exmaple) that will never come to pass.
:gony:
