1. He's playing with a bone bruise and without his top scorer
2. To be "overrated" means his rating is higher than he deserves
Who actually gave Ray Felton the respect to rate him "over" what he should be?
Felton's bone-bruise injury has to be a mental injury too .. forgettin he's a PG by taking 30 shot atempts, and still feeding himself the ball after missing 21 shots is mental more than physical.
Felton being overatted as a Bobcats & Knicks is an understatement.
Felton being better than Duhon is the best description of Felton.
The Western Conference Guards in the past year in a half put starting PG-Felton on the bottom level of NBA starting guards (decent backup).
The Knicks did something the Bobcats should have done years ago with Felton & Okafor .. on Felton 2nd chance as a Knicks .. the Knicks got Felton an all-around experience veteran (HOF) PG-Jason Kidd to tutor Felton thru a 82 game season, and postseason games.
Expect Felton to have good & bad games early in the season while Jason Kidd teach Felton how to control the tempo of games for 27 minutes of playingtime .. by midseason we should see more wins by Felton than losses.
Felton's biggest obstical will be our top-scorer Melo wanting the ball walked up-court for Melo's 35 minutes of playingtime, while a healthy Amare look foward to some offensive running-spurts to outscore over aghausted or inexperience oposition, using PG-Kidd's uptempo-scheme.
Jason Kidd have to lead the point when "Amare & Melo" are in the same lineup .. Felton is not experience for that "tandem" this season...
