There's talk of changing the rules to ban hack a whoever but I hope they don't do it. It may slow the game down but it's a game strategy that's part of the game and shouldn't be outlawed.
You and Broadway are right about salaries for big men. Tristan Thompson turned down a 4yr/$48M deal from the Cavs. The Clips are in salary cap hell so their only option is to re-sign DJ, the Clips can only hope that the market for bigs collapses and guys like Thompson, Monroe, Lopez don't get max offers but I think Broadway is right that teams are looking at these guys like they are on sale this year with the cap about to explode.A lot of these guys actually most of these guys are overpaid. DJ is one of if not the best defensive centers in the league, and a monster rebounder... Dwight howard got max money and took an orlando team to the finals and he can't hit Free throws either. DJ is one of the main reasons why the clippers are where they are now and will be a key cog in how far they go. a team will not be signing him with the hopes of having to rely on him hitting late game free throws..
Chris Bosh signed a Max deal with Miami....Clippers have no shot at him and CB would expose them defensively. Clippers are already a near contending team with Jordan, it simply comes down to draws and match-ups first round. Only another piece or two is needed primarily bench depth. They like other teams will have cap flexibility in the near future when it jumps from $67-68 to $88-90mil in 2yrs more than likely.
The Clippers also won Game 4 in San Antonio...by nearly 10pts, Jordan went 0-4 from the FTA that game. There's a clear trend in Clippers wins and losses and it doesn't have to do with Jordan's free throws.

I said the Clips have enough horses to beat anyone, the Spurs series proved that but you mentioned the lack of a bench and the Rox bench is better but I'm not sure that's going to be a factor in the playoffs with shorter rotations and guys playing more minutes.
Paul and Big Baby may both be out tonight, though I think Paul would have to have a broken leg before you keep him out of tonights game.
