I'm with it .. Trade KP! while he still has lottery value.
I watch KP for two seasons and still I'm clueless on what position KP type of performance could help a team win.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Celtics are one of the teams interested in trading for Kristaps Porzingis.
It is currently unclear just how seriously Phil Jackson and the Knicks are about potentially parting with Porzingis. However, if they are willing to move KP, Boston will certainly be in the mix. The Celtics are one of the few teams that possess the large numbers of assets it would require to complete a blockbuster deal. For what it's worth, Porzingis' brother, Janis, told ESPN on Tuesday that Porzingis wants to remain in New York. "Despite how the Knicks are treating their players, Kris wants to stay in New York," Janis Porzingis said.
Kristaps Porzingis - F - Knicks
Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical is reporting that Knicks president Phil Jackson "isn't ruling out the possibility of trading Kristaps Porzingis," which has resulted in a "frenzy of interest."
On the surface, trading Porzingis would seem to make absolutely no sense for the Knicks. Phil Jackson has stated publicly that he wants to part ways with Carmelo Anthony and commit to a full rebuild. One would assume that any logical rebuilding would center around their 21-year old rising star. Considering his incredible skill set and versatility, Porzingis would seemingly be the ideal cornerstone for the franchise moving forward. Stay tuned, as we will provide updates as they become available.

Knicks president Phil Jackson had a dinner meeting with Arizona forward Lauri Markkanen on Monday night in New York.
Markkanen's name had not been attached to the Knicks previously, as president Phil Jackson publically stated that New York was targeting a point guard or a wing in the draft. Shockingly, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical is reporting that the Knicks are considering the possibility of trading Kristaps Porzingis. Thus, the Knicks view Markkanen as a potential replacement should they move Porzingis.

In order for this to happen.... Phil must acquire quite the haul (being KP is young, his rare skill set, and fact that teams should -- and supposedly are -- bidding for him. And, NYK have to walk away with Josh Jax or Fox).
BOS must surrender a Smart, Rozier type player and 3 picks (2 lottery).
Hoopshype saying price tag for KP is very high and likely would require the other team taking Noah's bad contract as part of the deal. Good. Let's get crazy. Asylum crazy and see if any team is stupid enough to follow us into the padded cell.
"fr" means "for real" so KP is asking, "for real?" in reference to Phil

NBA Radio debating if NYK should trade KP to BOS for a package of Smart, Brown, #3 pick and next year's Brooklyn pick.
One host said he would do that if he were BOS but wouldn't if he were NYK. He said Smart is a free agent next summer and KP has top 5 in nBa potential. Went on saying KP impacts perimeter on offense and paint on defense.... very few have this skill set.
Sorry.... I would do that deal in a heartbeat.
Like I said if I'm Magic on Thursday, Adam Silver says "With the number 2 pick the LA Lakers select D'Aaron Fox of the University of Kentucky". Though I did read an ESPN piece on guys in the draft that have the potential to be successes, Lonzo Ball grabbed the top spot with the computer predicting he'll be the most likely guy to be a success in the NBA. His numbers just reek of shooting efficiency, passing that leads to team success. I just remember him being dominated by Fox in the tourney.D'Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov have reportedly been sent to the Lakers in exchange for Brook Lopez and the No. 27 pick in Thursday's NBA draft.

Lakers clearly admitting the pre-Magic Johnson front office made 2 big front office mistakes in drafting Russell at #2 and signing Mozgov to a big deal (which was clearly a mistake at the time they did it).
Fair trade or not, you would sure as hell hope that a #2 overall pick after only 2 seasons would net you more than moving a bad contract, Brook Lopez in the final year of his contract, and a late 1st round pick.

Not when you need the cap space to land PG13 and and combination of two Lebron/Westbrook/Kyrie/Melo
