The 2022-23 NBA Play-In & Playoff

Look at the way the scrappy Miami Heats played, they forced the Celtics into a TON of 3s and the Celtics didn't knock em down .. sound familiar?
The Heats only struggled when they had issues with turnovers in the 2nd half of Game 4, and throughout Game 5.
Miami has flipped the script on the NBA. They slow the game all the way down when they have a double digit lead, plus their 5 touch ball-movement shoots with 5 or less on the clock. And then they grind it out on defense with the Spo zone.
Nuggets vs Heats FINALS .. Heats in 6

From 1 to 10, the Knicks coaching staff is a 5 when compared to the Heats level 10.
The Knicks coaching-staff showed no strategy in the post season games, although the Knicks beat the 1 on 1 Cavs in 5 games in a series from the dynamics/and creativeness of players Brunson, Hart, MitchRob, and Hartenstein.
 
The FINALS Game 1

The Denver Nuggets look unbeatable in the First Half .. Jokic dominating like a playoff Duncan in the postseason now having PG Murray back in the rotation all postseason.

The Heats getting no luv in Denver
 
End of the 3rd Quarter .. Nuggets 84 - Heats 63
Nuggets shooting 56% from FG compared to Heats 35% FG shooting
Which gave Nuggets a 21 pt lead after 3 quarters .. Wow!

Game 1 performance look like the Nuggets got another SWEEP
And then again .. The 8th seeded Heats team that defies expectations throughout the post season ..
Don't count the chickens before their hatch.
I'm gonna forget Game 1 .. And hope the FINALs become a chess match between Malone and Spo.
 
Julius Randle played through multiple (serious) ankle injuries that requires surgery to repair. He’s recovering now from those successful procedures. Give the man some credit. You don’t give away a 25/10 guy who plays every game unless it’s a significant upgrade. Dude is a baller and a good fit with Thibbs and Brunson. A shame he got hurt at end of year. What night have been….

Wsup Mafra .. Randle playing hurt through injuries he received for playing way more minutes than his talents & skills deserve .. is all on Randle, and Randle's greed to stay the Knicks first option.
LinSanity had to go, because Melo wanted to stay the Knicks first option on offense.
The Knicks 2022-23 season had Randle & Barrett challenging the new PG Brunson on who will be the Knicks first & second option on offense throughout the season. Brunson won the award.
The past 2 seasons in the Knicks First quarter of the game Randle have been playing the entire 12 minutes of the 1st quarter, and 8 minutes in each of the final 3 quarters throughout the regular season games, averaging 36 minutes a game at the end of a 82 game season.
NBA Fans want to see elite all-around super-star players on the court for 35 or more minutes each game ..
Players like Jokic or Giannis or Curry.
Giving a role-player Randle 36 minutes a game all season, has had half of the Knicks fans wanting Randle traded every off-season.
 
I think Thibbs should take the hit playing Randle so many minutes. I even thought they could’ve rested Randle Game 5 in CLE.

At the start of the 2nd quarter Denver went on a 21-6 run having Jokic on the bench.
Denver scoring on all Miami's turnovers.

The NBA Finals Game 2 in Denver .... Heats 111 - Nuggets 108
The Miami Heats elimination 4th quarter (36-25) performance in the post season games showed up on the Bucks/Knicks/Celtics/and tonight on the Nuggets to even the series ....

After Randle's 6 turn-overs in Game 2 loss vs Cavs .. Randle's playing time minutes should've been reduce to 24 to 26 minutes in a postseason game. Randle's post season performance has been as poor as his first time in the playoffs.
There's nothing dynamic about Randle's one on one Bully move, or waiting on the 3 ball line to shoot 8 3's a game at 34%. And become clueless on every defensive switch. Randle has added nothing new to his offense/defense in 4 seasons which works in the regular season, but not in a series vs the same opponent for 7 games.

Truth be said .. The Knicks FO need to hire Doc Rivers ASAP in the offseason to become Thibs assistant coach next season. If not, then Fire Thibs ASAP before the NBA FINALS end.
Coach Mike Woodson and D.Rose 2nd unit lineup of bench players won the COY award in 2021.

The Nuggets defense & rebounds (50-24), plus Braun quick 15 pts off the bench have build a 21 pt lead over the Heats having 9 minutes remaining in the game.

4 min remain in game .. Jockic have a Triple-Double 32 pts, 20 rbs, and 10 Dimes, plus a 14 pt lead over the Heats !!!
Lets than 2 min left in game, and Murray got away with a Flagrant elbow foul to the face that could've reduce the Nuggets lead down to 6.
