Atlanta Hawks vs New York Knicks MSG Broadcast Recap – State Farm Arena – 11/27/2021

Knicks MSG Studio Crew Talk

– More Wally on the commentary! No Clyde again though. Hopefully one day I hear Wally & Clyde (if that hasn’t happened already). Also no Monica McNutt on the broadcast tonight, just Alan and Bill Pidto. No Wally Wall, no Moni Wall, no Wall.

– Alan Hahn is wondering when Immanuel Quickley is going to graduate to the starting line-up because of his defense which he said the starting PG spot needs and Quickley has shown he can bring it in consecutive games.

Notable Commentary By Wally And Breen

  • Vince Carter was shown commentating with Dominique Wilkins for the Hawks after they were talking about Obi Toppin’s ally-oop dunk that happened moments before. Wally and Breen were talking about Dominique making the top 75 NBA players of all-time and people thinking he was snubbed for the top 50 in 1996. Breen also thought Vince was snubbed for the 75 and Wally thought he could’ve been as well. Wally also thinks he’s definitely the greatest in-game dunker of all-time.
  • Breen was talking about the Hawks’ John Collins’ great stats then Wally said he’s going to give an interesting stat about him and not useless ones like Alan Hahn does, then Breen laughed and said you gotta give him a chance to defend himself. Wally said stay tuned for the post-game show. Wally’s stat was something about PER.
