Phoenix Suns asked New York Knicks for Frank Ntlikina and Willy Hernangomez in exchange for Eric Bledsoe, league sources told @BBallInsiders
The above wouldn't get this done without a bigger piece like CLee or Noah. I hope they would take Noah but Frank, WHG and CLee for Bledsoe seems lopsided to me w/o the Suns throwing in a draft pick. I would do the trade if it included Noah w/o a pick, not going to get many chances to trade Noah's contract.
Ntilikina seems to get a new injury every 20 minutes and WHG has been bumped from our rotation. If we can get Bledsoe for Ntilikina, Lee, and WHG, I think we do it.

The Knicks are among the teams who have reached out to Phoenix recently about trading for guard Eric Bledsoe, per league sources.
Not going to happen anyways. Only reason I wouldn't do this trade is it departs from the tanking strategy. I think getting Bledsoe now puts a few more wins on the board because he's proven and Frank is not and why is WHG sitting, is it all Horn's fault or is it lack of talent. I bet Horn would love to get the guy and that Tweet from Begley "to this point" leaving the door open to doing it.I want no parts of Bledsoe, not sure why any Knick fan would support bringing him here like truly baffled. Like have we learned anything from our past or not?
For me, personally, I kind of see this -- or at least hope -- the same as when HOU wanted to get rid of K-Lowry. Perhaps we stumble upon a little gem, and do so on pennies on the dollar. His deal is only 2 years, so it's not a large commitment. He's young, in his prime, so it fits in with what we are trying to do with the roster.
Mainly, Bledsoe is better than any guard on our roster... But, also b/c he has history (and success) playing for J-Horn.
Obviously, the question boils down to cost.
I WOULD NOT deal both WHG & Ntiklina for Bledsoe. NO sense giving up a PG we control for 4 more year, at a cheap price along with a promising young big, who can score, and is also a cheap asset. NOW, if PHO will take the Noah contract off our hands... then I think about it... more so if I am Perry, and wasn't the GM who drafted Frenchie.
We also have a too many C (Noah, KOQ, WHG, and Kanter). KOQ offers something WHG-Kanter don't, so to me... either Kanter or WHG goes (and we invest in the future of the other). Ergo, we can deal from a position of strength to address a weakness. SO, if a deal is centered around a Kanter or WHG for Bledsoe... sure... let's talk.
BUT, I wouldn't go crazy. We could always sign Bledsoe after next season if we covet him that badly.
If he doesn't get on the court soon I'm going to start calling him the French Bargnani. Bargnani was so soft he'd be out a week because he broke a nail. A lot of teams want Bledsoe, still an elite athlete, 20ppg/6apg last 2 years, good defender, top 15 rpm, top 12 PER among PG's. The Knicks could do worse than trading 2 guys that will probably never approach what he can produce. He's more a win now guy and that's the biggest argument against getting him, the Knicks front office from Perry, Mills and that unnamed guy that said he wants the Knicks to win 20 games not 30 this year for the shot at number 1.Frank Nitty hasn't played in the NBA yet, and i have more confidence in Frank winning a game over Bledsoe.

Agreed he does not turn my crank at all. He is too short and I just don't see a playoff-caliber guard. We need to build a true contender and he just doesn't fit that mold. Meanwhile Frank is 19 and has a 7-foot wingspan. He fits the rebuilding window and that wingspan will come in handy come playoff time.
Lets see how this shakes out. It might wind up that the original Knicks/Suns trade that was talked about of Kanter/EB is the one that get's done, they might ask for a PG I don't think anyone would object to throwing in Sessions.

...LOL!Oh and he's shorter than the shortest midget of them all in Dennis Smith Jr
He couldn't even keep it 100 when questioned why he tweeted what he tweeted. He clearly could have told mgmt he made an emotional mistake which got the best of him. I mean everyone could/would've understood, although it comes off very runky and unprofessional.
First of all his character(maturity as a leader) has been questionable since being given the keys in Phx. He's a bonafied loser, an empty calorie stat producer, doesn't make anyone around him better..very overrated. He's high maintenance and he has injury history(knees I believe).
...LOL!
Notice Phx has tried to get rid of him for yrs and no team ever stepped up to the plate to snag him? Don't get me wrong Phx has been a mess for a while now but Bledsoe is awful, let him Bleed somewhere else. Just because our organization has been tied to him via media coverage doesn't not mean we as fans need to run in haste to get behind such fallacy. Frank's build will always be enticing but that wouldn't be the reason why I don't pull a trigger on a trade.
