Knicks take another embarrassing loss, to the league’s worst, 120-112

NBA’s worst team, the Brooklyn Nets, just broke their 16 home games losing streak by defeating the Knicks (again).

And not just anyhow, but coming as the lowest scoring team in the league, the Nets dropped 39 points in the first quarter to administrate their rivals an 120-112 knock-out.

Brook Lopez scored 15 of his total 25 points in the first quarter, and all of them from behind the arc (5-5).

Carmelo Anthony, who led the Knicks with 27 points, couldn’t explain what happened.

“It’s a bad one. That’s all I can say about it. A very bad one.”

Kristaps Porzingis finishing in double-double (19 points & 10 rebounds) called the confusion they’ve been dealing with each time.

“A lot of times it’s — especially one on one — whoever it is, myself, Carmelo [Anthony], Derrick [Rose], Courtney [Lee], we try to make something happen and that’s not how it’s supposed to be. It’s very random.”

The Knicks are now 15 games under .500 and the chances of getting to the 8th seed are becoming barely notable.
