  • Breen pointed out that Alex Caruso has benefited from the rule change this season, being more lenient with defenders. He said this is what defenders should be doing, taking advantage of the rule change, since they can get away with more.

MSG 150 – Fast Notes

Lakers/PistonsIsaiah Stewart was blocking out LeBron James trying to get a rebound from a foul shot then LeBron gave him a cheap shot making him bleed from the face. Stewart had to be held back several times. Both were ejected and this is only the second time James was thrown out of a game in his career. This is also the only time from what I remember that an entire MSG 150 was dedicated to one game. After this incident Russell Westbrook was shown throwing it down. He finished with 26 points in a Lakers win.
