Notable Commentary By Clyde And Breen

  • Frazier brings up that he’s glad that the NBA is discussing doing away with the take foul. The other night during the Raptors game him and Breen were talking about this and how it takes away from the game.
  • Rebecca Haarlow told Clyde and Breen that Nerlens Noel has been working on his three point shot while he was out healing his injury so he could fit in with the team’s style based on their success with it.
  • Rebecca shared with Breen and Clyde that Barrett told her that after his first two seasons he learned how to workout smarter, not longer. He can do what did in his thirty minute workouts now in twenty. This let him get more proper rest. Breen then told Clyde he can now do three minute workouts which he formerly did in two hours. His favorite workout is lifting the dessert tray.
  • Mike Breen mentioned that Friday Night Knicks won an Emmy this year and gave a shoutout to the production crew, calling them the best in the business.

MSG 150 – Fast Notes

Lakers/Rockets – Three big dunks by LeBron, including an ally-oop from Anthony Davis

Pistons/Bucks – In the post-game Giannis, being full of joy with his team’s win, was tongue and cheek about their victory improving to 4-4 saying, “I thought we were tanking for the number one pick”.

Chris Paul and the Suns defeated the Pelicans the previous night by 12. Paul had 18 assists and his 8th assist put him past Mark Jackson and Steve Nash moving him to 3rd all-time behind only Jason Kidd and John Stockton. Paul needs 5,461 to pass Stockton. Bill Pidto said, “not gonna happen. Paul’s 36’s years of age. That’s how dominant Stockton is all-time in the assists category.”

Bill Pidto said in the post-game 150 it’s looking like a lot of parity in the East so far this season.

Half-Time

After returning from the 150 quick change artists were briefly shown in the center of the Pacers court before going to a commercial.

Knicks MSG Studio Crew Talk

– Despite the 13-point loss, Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak in the post-game gave credit to the Knicks defense and also the Pacers’ shot making, including Miles Turners’ career high 7-three pointers. Wally said Randle played his hardest game of the season.

– Bill, Wally, and Alan were at the MSG Studio Bar for The Corner Three segment which Pidto said is ironic since the Knicks made 5 threes tonight and the Pacers made 16.
