Jalen Brunson named Eastern Conference player of the week

In a week marked by excellent performances, Jalen Brunson has been recognized as the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 11.

Brunson averaged an impressive 27.3 points per game, along with notable contributions of 9.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds. His all-around excellence was a driving force behind the Knicks’ success. The Knicks, led by Brunson’s performances, achieved a flawless 4-0 record during the week, solidifying their position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Brunson’s impact was particularly evident in last week’s matchups. Against the Chicago Bulls, he poured in 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Facing off against the third place Philadelphia 76ers, Brunson displayed his scoring ability with a 29-point effort. The week concluded with a 33-point outing against the Washington Wizards, further solidifying Brunson’s claim to the Player of the Week title.

On the Western Conference front, the Houston Rockets’ Alperen Sengun received the Player of the Week honors.
