Series continues in Philly as Knicks drop Game 5 in overtime

The Knicks failed to close the series at home tonight despite a high intensity matchup and a huge effort by Jalen Brunson who scored 40 points. A 6 point lead with under 30 seconds in regulation blown by Tyrese Maxey (46 points) with a three point play and a long three would send the game to overtime.

Brunson scored the first 5 points of the extra time but the Knicks weren’t able to score for more than two minutes during a 9-0 Sixers run. No miracles tonight.

Recap coming later.
