Brunson pours 45 points on Blazers, leads Knicks to victory
In a commanding performance, the New York Knicks secured a solid 105-93 victory over the Trail Blazers. Jalen Brunson led the charge, lighting up the scoreboard with an impressive 45 points, while Josh Hart contributed with 7 points and a staggering 15 rebounds. OG Anunoby and Donte DiVincenzo also made significant contributions, each adding 12 points to the Knicks’ tally.

The game started off with the Knicks trailing 19-25 late in the first quarter, but they quickly turned the tide with a dominant 13-2 run in the second quarter, propelling them to a comfortable 44-31 lead. From that point onward, the Knicks never looked back, outscoring the Blazers 29-16 in the second quarter alone.
As the game progressed, the Knicks extended their lead even further, reaching a commanding 22-point advantage with just 1 minute left in the third quarter, courtesy of Bojan Bogdanovic’s clutch free throws. Despite the Blazers’ efforts, they were unable to cut the deficit to single digits throughout the game.
On the Blazers’ side, DeAndre Ayton put up an impressive performance with 31 points and 14 rebounds, while Dalton Banton added 16 points to their score.
One notable aspect of the Knicks’ victory was their dominance in the paint, outscoring the Blazers by a significant margin of 58-34.
With this win, the Knicks improve their record to 39-27 and maintain their position in 4th place in the standings.
