Knicks defeat the Pelicans 128-106, win fifth straight
The New York Knicks celebrated the golden anniversary of their 1972-73 championship team with an emphatic 128-106 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks were led by Julius Randle, who scored 28 points, while RJ Barrett added 25 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Brunson had 20 points, and Mitchell Robinson chipped in with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Josh Hart had a productive outing off the bench, contributing 15 points, while Immanuel Quickley added 13 points.
The Knicks dominated from the outset, and Josh Hart’s pull-up jump shot put the Knicks up 51-28 early in the second quarter. The Pelicans tried to mount a comeback, with Brandon Ingram scoring 19 points and Jason Richardson adding 16 points, but the Knicks remained in control.
Quentin Grimes‘ three-pointer gave the Knicks their biggest lead of the game, 90-63, midway through the third quarter.
The Knicks continued their impressive form, winning their fifth straight game and improving their record to 35-27. They have won eight of their last ten games and are looking to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
