Knicks drop another home game, 97-111 vs Hornets
The New York Knicks fell for the fifth time in the last six games, losing 111-97 at home to the Charlotte Hornets.
Carmelo Anthony returned to the floor after missing against the Pacers and finished with 15 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
Derrick Williams who started for Kristaps Porzingis (most probable out for the remaining games) finished in double-double with 17 points (13 in the first half) and 10 rebounds while Sasha Vujacic, who stole Afflalo’s spot in the lineup added 16.
At the other end, New York native, Kemba Walker, led Charlotte with 34 points.
The Knicks are 31-48 with 3 more games left to play while the Hornets improve to 45-33 and strengthen their position as 6th seed.
