Randle misses at the buzzer as the Knicks take another heartbreaking loss, 103-102 to Hornets

The Knicks blew a 14 point lead in the third quarter just to watch Devonte Graham make a three pointer with 2.8 on the clock that gave the Hornets a one point lead.

Graham was wide open when he received the pass in spite of the “no 3s” strategy called by the Knicks. Frank Ntilikina desperately tried to block his shot but he wasn’t able.

With the last possession and just 2.1 left, the Knicks turned to Julius Randle but his jump shot missed the rim and the Knicks dropped 3-10.

Ntilikina was arguably Knicks’ best defender, however he still struggled to score, going just 2-7 from the field and finishing with 6 points. He did however dished 6 assists, grabbed 3 boards and had 3 steals.

RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 22 points, while shooting 8-16 from the field, Marcus Morris had 14 and Randle finished with 12 buckets, 6 boards and 6 dimes.

Mitchell Robinson led the bench with 17 and 12 and Bobby Portis contributed with 14 points.

The Hornets were led by Graham’s heroic 29 while PJ Washington scored 19.
