Jimmer Fredette scores 37 in D-League debut
Jimmer Fredette made his D-League debut last night under the eyes of Floyd Mayweather, a close friend of Westchester Knicks’ Jordon Crawford, and he didn’t failed to deliver.
Fredette scored 37 points in his first game as a Knick, a 102-90 victory over the Grand Rapids, helping his team to improve to 6-0.
He’s a professional guy. He’s a smart player. He obviously has a knack to do things on the floor.
– Mike Miller, WK Coach
Jimmer (6-2, 195) arrived in the D-League one month ago but due to the New Orleans Pelicans going through numerous injuries, he was signed by the NBA team. He played in 4 games a total of 13 minutes before being waved on November 19th.
After getting little playtime with the New York Knicks – just about 24 minutes, Cleanthony Early was sent to the D-League yesterday, with the Westchester Knicks.
Early made his debut alongside Jimmer Fredette and finished in double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
