Notable Commentary By Clyde And Breen
- Mike Breen mentioned Clyde’s return then Clyde said it’s poor timing because it’s cold (according to my phone it’s 34 degrees in NYC).
- Rebecca Haarlow said Julius Randle conveniently got to be with his family in Dallas while he was away from the team. He used the time for a mental reset. He also watched the Knicks games.
- Allan Houston and Leon Rose was shown in the crowd and Frazier said in reaction to Houston, “pristine jumper and lethal from the free-throw line”.
- Breen and Clyde were talking about the recently passed Celtic great Sam Jones. Breen said if a player won 10 championships today he’d be legendary. Frazier said he fortunately played against him in the twilight of his career. Clyde called him a nice man and if you ever saw him in the hallway you better walk the other way or he’d be talking to you fifteen to twenty minutes.
- Mike Breen said Pacer rookie Duane Washington’s uncle is Derek Fisher.
- Breen said he was watching the Charlotte game last night and of the sixteen shots taken in the last three minutes of the game thirteen were three pointers. Frazier said it’s the easy way out and the way of today’s game.
