Knicks lose 3rd straight, end west coast trip 2-3

With Derrick Rose sidelined again, because of his back injury, the Knicks were not able to upset the Denver Nuggets and lost 127-114.

This was the 3rd straight loss, and the last match-up of a 5 game road trip series in the west.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points shooting 10-14 from the field including 2-2 from behind the arc – while Kristaps Porzingis added 22.

Brandon Jennings, who started for Rose finished with 14 points, 7 assists and off the bench, Willy Hernangomez finished in double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds, spending 28 minutes on the court.

The Knicks drop to 14 and 13 and will return to Madison Square Garden where they will play the next three games: on the 20th against Indiana, on the 22nd against Orlando and on Christmas Day against Boston.
