Jalen Brunson named Player of the month

Knicks guard Jalen Brunson has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month. Brunson averaged 28.8 points and 5.8 assists, guiding the Knicks to victory in 9 out of their 14 games despite missing three starters.

The Knicks’ All-Star delivered a career-high 61 points in a recent loss to the Spurs but also notched impressive performances with 45 and 42 points in road wins against the Trail Blazers and the Kings.

Brunson is receiving the award for the second time in his career after being named Player of the Month in February 2023.

Luka Doncic was named the Player of the Month in the Western Conference.
